I remember these days as a kid, when I went shopping with my Mom we never passed a Swarovski shop without going in.
I was fascinated by all these lights, the glitter and the contrast of the silver and white everywhere. For me it was like entering in another world, in a world full of lights and glamour. Gazing all the pretty princess like jewelry made me dreaming of how I would wear such pretty pieces once I would be an adult. My little girl dreams definitely became true and I’m happy to show you one of their newest creations: The Henrietta Collection. The set is inspired by ice crystals, it captures the beauty of winter with clear crystals and shiny rhodium plating. So perfect for the Christmas season, don’t you think?
Talking about Christmas: Swarovski cultivates a special Christmas tradition in Zurich. Every year they put a giant Christmas tree at Zurich main station, decorated with thousands of ornaments. It’s very famous all over the world and definitely a must-see for everyone. This year this wonderful tradition already celebrates its 20th anniversary. On the 23rd of November at 19.00 (unfortunately I won’t attend, since I’ll be in Thailand) the famous Swarovski Christmas tree will officially be enlighted for a month. Around the tree Swarovski will present pieces from their current collection, as well as the last 20 annual editions ornaments from the past 20 years. So if you are from Switzerland or visiting Zurich in November/December make sure to have a look at the Swarovski tree at Zurich main station. There is also an Instagram competition, where the visitors can take a photo of themselves and the Swarovski tree, post it on Instagram, using the hashtags #swarovskitrees and #givebrilliant and getting so the chance to win amazing prices from Swarovski!
