Family visit in bella Italia

Last weekend my sister Saskia and I went to the South of Italy to visit our grandparents.

It’s been a few years since I saw them the last time. Actually crazy.. also because when I was younger we went there every Summer. Than I became a teenager and going on holiday with my parents wasn’t that cool anymore. So the years passed by, where I always had other priorities, than my family. Then last year I went to the Italian part of Switzerland for work, for almost one year. I started to go out with Italian people, I used to go eating on Sundays at their places with their entire family, including their Nonna and Nonno. And I enjoyed it so much! And then I realized how important it is to spend time with your family! Something changed in me (or maybe I just grew up haha) and I started to take more care of my family, than I did before. So I also decided to book that trip to my Nonni’s. Of course they were super excited to see us. When I arrived at their house, it was everything almost like the last time I was there as a kid. The house, the rooms and the smells. It just fell so good and it really was like coming home after a long time.

Love the unique top! The tie in the front combined with the off the shoulder cut is so fun!
